- Provide Dry Coating Ingredients
- Prepare 2 Medium-Size Aloo (Non-Boiled)
- Get 1/2 Cup Maida
- Provide 1/4 Cup Cornstarch
- Use 1/4 Tea Spoon Salt
- Get 2 Table Spoon Oil
- Take 1 Table Spoon Ginger Garlic Paste
- You need 1/2 Tea Spoon Kaali Mirch Powder
- Provide Wet Coating Ingredients
- Use 1/2 Cup Maida
- Use 1/4 Cup Cornstarch
- Get 1/4 Tea Spoon Salt
- Get 2 Table Spoon Oil
- You need 1/2 Cup Water
- Provide Sauce Mix Ingredients
- Provide 3-4 Spring Onions
- Get 1/2 Onion
- You need 1/2 Capsicum
- Take 1 inch Ginger
- You need 7-8 Garlic Cloves
- Prepare 1 Tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
- You need 3 Table Spoon Honey
- You need 1 Tea Spoon Red Chilli Paste
- You need 2 Table Spoon Soya Sauce
- Provide 1 Table Spoon Vinegar
- Get 1 Tea Spoon Cornstarch
- Get 1 Tea Spoon Tomato Ketchup
- You need 1/4 Tea Spoon Kaali Mirch Powder
- Take 1/4 Tea Spoon Ajinomoto (Optional)

Steps to make Honey Chilli Potato:
- Wash all vegetables properly.
- Peel off the skin from aloo & then cut them in shape of sticks or use a French fries chopper.
- Chop Onion, white part of spring onions, Ginger, Garlic & capsicum very-very finely.
- Keep green part of spring onions aside to use them for garnishing.
- Now take a pan or Kadhai, add water in it & keep the gas on medium flame.
- When water starts boiling, add 1 Teaspoon Salt with chopped aloo French fries in it.
- Boil them till they are 60% cooked & don’t boil them because while coating them on mixture they will break but after frying them they will become more soft.
- Boil them for 7-8 minutes.
- After 7-8 minutes, turn off the flame, strain out all the water from them & let them cool down.
- After some time, take a bowl add dry coating ingredients in it with boiled French fries pieces & mix them properly.
- Now let the dry coating rest for 4-5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, take another bowl, add wet coating Ingredients in it & mix them properly.
- After 4-5 minutes, pour wet coating on top of dry coating & mix them properly.
- Now remember, to make chilli potato crispy, you have to fry them twice, first on medium flame till coating is set & second time on high flame till they turn into golden brown in colour.
- Then take a kadhai, add oil in it & keep the gas on medium flame.
- When oil gets heated up, add coated potato pieces in it & fry them for 2-3 minutes till their coating is set.
- After 2-3 minutes, when coating is set, turn off the flame, take them out in a plate & let them cool down properly.
- If aloo pieces are sticked together while frying don’t worry they can be separated after they cool down.
- After some time, again turn on the gas & this time keep it on high flame.
- Now add aloo French fries pieces in it & fry them till they turn into golden brown in colour.
- After 1-2 minutes, when they turn into golden brown in colour, turn off the flame & take them out in a bowl or a plate.
- Now take a big Kadhai or a wok, add 1/2 Big Spoon Oil in it & keep the gas on medium-high flame.
- When oil gets heated up, add finely chopped vegetables in it & cook them for 1-2 minutes till they become translucent/ soft.
- After 1-2 minutes, add sauce mix ingredients in it with some wat & mix them properly & let it boil.
- When gravy or sauce starts boiling, turn off the gas & add fried aloo pieces in it & mix them with sauce properly.
- Remember to turn off the gas first before adding fried French fries pieces otherwise they will become soft.
- Sprinkle Sesame Seeds & Green Part of Spring Onions on top.
- Your Honey Chilli Potato is ready to be served.
