- Provide 1 cup sooji/rava/semonila
- Get 1/2 cup curd
- Prepare 1/2 cup water

- You need 2 TSP urad Dal

- In large bowl add rava, curd, water, salt, baking soda and mix well. Let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
- For tempering - heat a pan and add oil. When oil is hot add hing - mustard seeds - urad Dal - pepper - green chillies - ginger - curry leaves - turmeric - Cashew. Roast well.
- Pour tempering to the batter and mix well.
- Grease the Idli stand with some oil and pour batter in it.
- Steam Idli for 15-20 minutes. First 5 minutes on high flame and next 15 minutes on medium flame.
- After 20 minutes switch off the flame and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Take out idlis from the stand and serve hot with coconut and curry leaves chutney.
