  1. Soak Chanadal overnight or 8-10 hours and pressure cook it for 1 whistle.
  2. Make a puree out of 2 tomatoes.
  3. Prepare chopped onions, slit chillies, ginger garlic paste, and coriander leaves.
  4. In a pan start tempering and add all these ingredients and saute well for a minute. Add boiled channa, little water and tomato puree. Cook well.
  5. Add red chilli powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder and mix well. Add salt to taste.
