The ingredients needed to make Chilli paneer dry:
- Provide tbsp maida/all purpose flour
- Take 1 tbsp corn flour
- Use to taste salt -
- You need 1/4 cup water approx… to make batter
- Take 100 gms paneer cubes/cottage cheese -
- Take For sauteing:
- Get 2 tbsp oil
- Provide 1 tbsp garlic very finely chopped
- Provide 1 tbsp ginger very finely chopped
- Get 3-4 green chillies
- Get 1 onion, very finely chopped
- Take 1 onion, cut into cubes
- Use 1 green capsicum, cut into cubes
- Provide 1 tsp tomato sauce
- Take 1 tsp red chilli sauce
- Use 1 tsp soya sauce
- Take 1 tsp vinegar
- Take to taste salt -
- Take 1/2 tsp white pepper powder
- Take 1/2 cup water
- Prepare corn flour starch(1 tsp corn flour+1 tsp water mixed well)
- Prepare 1/2 tsp red chilli powder + 1 tsp water(mixed)
- Provide 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Instructions to make Chilli paneer dry:
- For marinating paneer: Firstly, in a bowl, add maida/all purpose flour, corn flour, salt, water, mix well and make a slightly thick batter without any lumps. Add paneer cubes, mix carefully and marinate for 10 minutes. In a wok add oil for deep frying and heat it. Drop the marinated paneer cubes, deep fry until they turn crisp golden color. Take them out on a tissue paper and keep aside.
- For sauteing: In a wok, add oil and heat it. Add chopped garlic, chopped ginger, saute until raw smell disappears. Add slit green chillies and saute for few seconds. Add very finely chopped onions, onion Cubes and capsicums cubes the onions until they turn soft. Add tomato sauce, red chilli sauce, soya sauce, vinegar, add salt as per taste, add black pepper powder, mix well. Add corn flour starch, add the fried paneer cubes, saute well. Add red chilli powder mixed well with some water.
- Mix the chilli paneer delicately and saute for about two minutes. Add chopped coriander leaves, mix well and saute for a minute. Chilli paneer is ready to be served.
