- Add matar, green chilli and ginger into the mixer grinder and grind it. add water gradually & make a thick puree.
- In a large bowl add besan and add matar puree in this bowl and mix. Now add A water gradually and make a lump free batter.
- Also add finely chopped onion and fresh coriander leaves and mix well.
- Add all Spices red chilli powder, dry mango powder powder, black peper powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, salt and lemon juice and mix well.
- Add pinch of baking soda and mix. Add water if the batter appears thick.
- Heat a non-stick pan, add a little oil, and spread. Turn the flame low and pour a ladleful of batter into the pan. Spread the batter in a circular motion keep the chella a little thick.
- Cook covered over low-medium heat for 3 - 4 minutes or till brown.
- Drizzle oil over the chilla and flip it and roast the other side. Cook till brown from both sides.Similarly, prepare all chilla.
- Take them out on a plate and cut. Serve hot chilla with chutney or sauce.
