  3. Add 2 glass of water or as required, cover the lid and cook until beef fully gets tender. Mash it well with potato masher. - - Add cooked beef in lentil mixture and stir continuously for 1hr or 40-50 minutes.
  4. #Tarka: - - in a non-stick pan heat oil and then add onion, fry until golden brown. Take out the fried onion in paper towel and keep it aside. Pour oil on haleem mixture and cook for 15-20 minutes. - Serve with fried onion, ginger slices, green fresh coriander and chaat masala.
