The ingredients needed to cook Sweet Chicken & Bacon Wraps:
- Take 1 1/4 lb Boneless skinless chicken breast.
- Prepare 1 lb Sliced bacon
- You need 2/3 cup Packed brown sugar
- Provide 2 tbsp Chili powder
Steps to make Sweet Chicken & Bacon Wraps:
- Pre heat 350. Cut chicken into 1" cubes. Cut each bacon slice into thirds. Wrap each chicken w/ bacon & secure w/ toothpick. Stir brown sugar & chili powder. Dredge chicken in mixture. Bake for 30-35 min or until bacon is crisp.
- I usually don't use the bacon. It's GREAT without it as well.
I made a few changes out of neccesity using a can of cubed pineapple with about half of the syrup and snow peas instead of the celery and gr. peppers. Tonight I will make again using the exact recipe! In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar and flour. Stir in the water, vinegar and soy sauce. Add the ketchup, onion, mustard, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
