  2. You need 150 gms Tamarind
  3. Use Salt as required

  1. Coarsely grind fresh red chillies after cleaning them.
  2. Add salt as required
  3. Clean tamarind and soak it in the coarsely ground chilles. Keep the box closed for 4-5days so that tamarind absorbs all the water that comes from chillies due to salt
  4. Grind it to a smooth paste on day 5
  5. Prepare tadka using mustard, red chillies, garlic,curry leaves, turmeric and hing
  6. Add grinded pickle to this seasoning and mix well. This pickle stays fresh fòr 3-4months. Relish with hot rice, idli, dosa or Upma.
